In a few weeks, you'll welcome the spring season, and you are likely ready to ditch that chilly day for a fun-filled family spring vacation. If you are still looking for a place to spend your spring break, include Branson in your itinerary.

There are many ways to enjoy spring break in Branson; you can take a hike in the Ozarks, go ziplining, take a thrilling adventure ride with the Branson roller coasters, or stroll through shops. When planning a spring break in Branson, please check out the following suggestions.

Enjoy a Downhill Ride with the Runaway Mountain Coaster

The Runaway Mountain Coaster at Branson Mountain Adventure Park offers a package of adventure and fun for the whole family during your spring break in Branson. The first mountain adventure to open in Branson, The Runaway provides a fantastic way to enjoy your spring break with the whole family.

Billed as a family attraction to be the first mountain coaster in the area, the $5 million "The Runaway" coaster and the park are beautifully located on a steep hillside at the former Butcher Holly property along Highway 165, just two miles from Highway 76.

The Runaway coaster will feature more family-friendly fun adventures in town with more turns, twists, zigzags, and ups and downs. As the first mountain coaster in the area, The Runaway will race down the Ozark hillside, weaving in and around trees and through beautiful landscapes allowing riders to enjoy an exhilarating ride experience as it travels at a speed of 30 mph.

Hike the Ozarks

The first item on our list is ideal for all who love the outdoors. There are many hiking paths through the Ozark Mountains near Branson. These routes take you to breathtaking scenery and even a few waterfalls. And there are enough paths to keep your family on foot for the whole week if you want. In addition to being free, this activity is a fantastic opportunity to get close to nature.

Experience Live Entertainment

Branson offers a wide range of locally produced entertainment alternatives created with the whole family in mind. Choose from acrobatic displays, live music, comedic performances, and magic tricks. Whichever you choose, you and your family will undoubtedly have a blast.

Stroll Through the Shops

Spend a day browsing the numerous stores in Branson if you want to relax a little without having too many activities booked. There are enough stores and boutiques to keep you shopping all day long.

Spend a Day at the Lake

A trip to Table Rock Lake is another fantastic option for anyone who loves the outdoors. This lake is ideal for a laid-back family fun day, whether you organize a picnic at the State Park or hire a boat for a fishing excursion.

If you're organizing your spring break in Branson, keep this list of things to do in mind. An exciting ride on one of Branson roller coasters is just one of the many activities available in this fantastic spring break destination.
