5 Restaurants to Try After Your Coaster Adventure
If you spend any amount of time outdoors, especially after an exciting ride on one of the Branson roller coasters, you have one thought: find the best restaurant to fill your hungry tummy. One thing is sure: Branson has many restaurants, although the bulk is chain establishments.
Check out these several restaurants that will leave you feeling full and satisfied.
Billy Gail's – Home of Heaping Servings
Billy Gail's is one of, if not the oldest, eateries in Branson. The waitstaff is quite pleasant. The quirky country design and road signs on the ceiling make it an enjoyable and filling stay. The portion sizes, however, are the most remarkable feature. Prepare yourself for Billy Gail's if you enjoy regularly posting your food on social media. And get one of their 14-inch pancakes to share.
Biscuits drenched in thick gravy, filled with French toast, delicious omelets, and gigantic specialty pancakes are among the breakfast delicacies available all day. Club sandwiches, burgers, salads, and handmade soups are among the lunch options at Billy Gail's Café.
Billy Gail's, a neighborhood favorite, delivers homestyle cooking in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Just a suggestion: arrive early in the day and bring cash if you want to get a table immediately. Credit card payments are not accepted.
If you're searching for a place to eat that serves large portions and great food following a thrilling ride on one of Branson's roller coasters, Billy Gail's Café is a good option. This lovely dining establishment serves breakfast and lunch daily and has a terrific atmosphere and courteous service. You will also discover some outstanding items on their menu.
Casa Fuentes – Branson's hidden gem
In Branson, there are few locally owned eateries and even fewer that aren't diners, bakeries, or barbecue businesses. Dinner at Casa Fuentes, a small Mexican restaurant on Highway 76, was a welcome change of pace (though on the outskirts). When looking for a delicious meal, think of still-warm tortilla chips, fresh chopped peppers in the fajitas, and tasty street tacos.
The menu at Casa Fuentes features choices not only for lunch and dinner but also for breakfast as well. Since Casa Fuentes offers classic options such as burritos, tacos, and enchiladas, there is always something here for everyone, even for a picky teenager. Chips and salsa always complement every meal in this beautiful Mexican restaurant.
Dolly Parton's Stampede – Dinner and a show
Nothing compares to Dolly Parton's Stampede. It's as if a rodeo married a Branson stage play and had a big reception with no silverware. As a result, the majority of the children enjoyed it. Unless you are a vegetarian, everyone, including children, is offered the same meal. What about that meal? First, there's the cream of vegetable soup, which you slurp until a hot biscuit is placed on your dish, into which you dip.
The server then serves you a full Cornish game hen. When you think you've had enough, the sides begin to appear. A half-roasted potato and corn on the cob are available. There's an entire show as you eat, with music, horse stunts, pig racing, dog racing, and comedy. It's a standout among Branson dining experiences and performances. Overall, it's more of an experience than a restaurant.
LandShark Bar & Grill – A restaurant with a view
Many travelers find it difficult to avoid chain eateries, but it's only sometimes possible. While most Branson visitors spend most of their time indoors, many are looking for a place to eat in Branson Landing, a large shopping complex. The vast outdoor shopping area has several known chains and larger brand stores that you will only find in Branson.
Most Landing tourists choose to eat at Landshark Bar & Grill since its patio has direct sunlight, and if it's 60 degrees in March, you have to sit outside. A beer on this patio is delicious if you indulge. Burgers, salads, and seafood are on the menu. Visitors will be pleased with the peaceful atmosphere and probably a little tanned.
While LandShark is not unique to Branson, the location is noteworthy. The restaurant overlooks Taneycomo Lake, and its patio provides a breathtaking view of the Branson Landing Fountains, which perform hourly.
College of the Ozarks' Keeter Center – Farm-to-table & healthy dining
There are few healthy eating or farm-to-table dining alternatives in Branson, but most restaurants will provide at least one lighter option. So, if you're looking for a restaurant that serves seasonal dishes, particularly vegetables other than French fries, go to Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks.
College of the Ozarks' Keeter Center is one of Branson's best restaurants, serving anything from a modest couple's lunch to catering-style service for large groups. Keeter Center operates with the assistance of student-run farms that provide fresh student-produced goods.
Most thrill seekers who have had a thrilling ride on one of the Branson roller coasters are constantly looking for a favorite restaurant serving delicious meals to satiate their appetite.
