Below are some of Branson's fun attractions that provide exhilarating adventure tours near the Branson Convention Center.

Runaway Mountain Coaster at Branson Mountain Adventure Park

The newest mountain attraction in Missouri, the Runaway Mountain Coaster at Branson Mountain Excitement Park, offers a bundle of adventure and fun for the whole family. The Runaway offers a distinctive ride experience that makes you feel like you are riding in an old-west stagecoach. The $5 million "The Runaway" coaster and the park are wonderfully situated on a steep hillside at the former Butcher Holly farm along Highway 165, only two miles from Highway 76.

It is billed as a family attraction and is the first mountain coaster in the area. The park also has zip lines, mountain Segways, and a treetop course. Unlike the traditional roller coasters in Branson MO, the mountain coaster is dragged up to the platform at the top and races down through gravity.

Adventure Tour with the Discovery Trolley

Take a ride on the Discovery Trolley to experience a sightseeing tour of downtown Branson. This trolley gives tourists taking the time out of the historic neighborhood a convenient and accessible way to explore some of the local landmarks and some of the stores, boutiques, and other businesses. You can enjoy yourself with the Discovery Trolley without breaking the bank.

There are numerous pick-up and drop-off locations throughout the trolley route where passengers can board and exit at their convenience. The Branson historic downtown area's trolley is intended to make moving about as simple and convenient as possible.

The trolley runs every day from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. except on Thanksgiving and Christmas, from November to December. The trolley route is on a constant loop, with pick-up and drop-off occurring every 15 minutes. The fascinating trolley ride provides an excellent overview of the Historic District, Convention Center, and Branson Landing. Branson's historic district, which dates back to 1882, is home to over 130 unique shops, live entertainment shows, theaters, art galleries, and other eclectic attractions.

Walking Adventure at the Branson Landing Promenade

Another fantastic site in Branson that offers cost-free entertainment and exciting things to do is the magnificent Branson Landing fountain. One of the largest and most distinctive fountain attractions you will ever see is this $7.5 million stunning fountain attraction at Branson Landing.

This musically orchestrated fountain display includes water geysers that shoot into the air, fireballs, and stunning lighting effects. One of the city's most well-liked attractions is the magnificent Fountain Show at Branson Landing, conveniently situated next to Lake Taneycomo's lakefront.

The "fire canons," burst vertically with fountains throwing water up to 120 feet in the air, can be seen during the day. The evening will add more excitement and wonder to this amazing fountain show as lights sparkle everywhere, and music plays.

Even though there are so many adventures close to the Branson Convention Center, you will want to take advantage of an exciting ride on one of the roller coasters in Branson MO.
